Lunenburg Twilight Magic

Lunenburg was high on the list for our trip to Nova Scotia—a place known as much for its maritime history as for its postcard-worthy waterfront. Before the trip, I researched the best vantage point for an evening view and found it was just across the bay, near the golf course. We arrived early and staked out a spot well before sunset, watching as the sky softened and the harbour lights blinked to life.

As dusk settled, the historic buildings lit up in warm, painterly tones, their reflections stretching across the still harbour. Boats rocked gently in the quiet. The air had that crisp Atlantic edge, and the town looked like it had exhaled into stillness.

We lingered until blue hour gave way to night, reluctant to leave such a peaceful, perfectly balanced moment. It’s a scene that stays with you—humble, glowing, and timeless.
