Lighthouse Reflections

We arrived at Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse as the sun was beginning to set, the sky breaking into soft yellows and muted clouds. Down near the rocks, a small pool of water caught Randy’s eye, reflecting both the lighthouse and the sky above. It felt like a gift—the famous icon mirrored in a fleeting moment of stillness.

The long exposure softened the waves rolling in from the Atlantic, adding a sense of calm against the rugged granite shoreline. While we were both taking photos, each of us framed the scene a little differently, but the feeling was the same: this was Peggy’s Cove at its most serene, caught between land, sea, and sky.
