Sunset at Monument Valley
From the balcony at The View Hotel, the desert stretched out like an endless canvas. That evening, the three great monuments—East Mitten, West Mitten, and Merrick Butte—stood in silhouette as the sky softened into pastels of rose, lavender, and pale gold. It was one of those sunsets where the drama wasn’t in blazing colour, but in the quiet gradations of light, the kind that makes you pause and breathe it in.
