About this Print
We were staying at The Lodge at Bow Lake in Banff National Park. Bow Lake is on the Icefields Parkway, a mountain road known as one of the most scenic drives in the world. The lodge had been refurbished and staying there was a special treat for us in the fall.
The morning didn’t look promising — low clouds, flat light, the kind that makes you think twice about picking up the camera. But something about the stillness pulled us outside anyway. As we stood there, the clouds slowly shifted, and a soft light touched the peak across the water. The lake went completely still, giving us this perfect reflection and a sky that felt quietly dramatic — not flashy, but beautiful in a more subtle, moody way.
It was one of those mornings that remind us why we keep showing up, even when the conditions seem off. You never know when the scene in front of you is going to surprise you.
The image received a Gold Award from the Master Photographers International (MPI) and was listed as one of the Top 100 images in the 10th annual International Imaging Competition.

Prints are made to order using archival inks on fine art paper. Prints are shipped unframed, allowing you to choose the frame style and materials that best suit your space.
CANVAS PRINTS
Fine Art Canvas is inkjet printed directly onto canvas using an archival wide format inkjet printer. The finish is resistant to moisture, fingerprints and other similar contaminants. Canvas prints are gallery-wrapped over a 1.5” stretcher frame and are ready to hang.

METAL AND ACRYLIC
Metal Prints are dye infused images produced on an aluminium surface with a finishing coating applied. The end result is a vibrant print with impressive detail and resolution.
Acrylic prints are printed on professional-grade archival photo paper using archival inks. The print is face mounted to acrylic, with a Dibond backer, encapsulating the printed image between. The result is an amazing sleek, modern and original-looking treatment: colours become more vibrant, blacks deepen, images will take on an almost 3D appearance.
