This was one of those rare mornings where everything aligned.
We were staying at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise — a bucket list item for us. We had been through some health scares earlier in the year, along with the challenges of Covid, and this was our first trip since then. Happy to be in Banff National Park and staying right at Lake Louise was a special treat.
We were up early, in near darkness, guided by starlight and the faint promise of morning. The air was still and cold, the kind that bites through gloves and camera batteries alike. I set up near the shoreline, watching as the sky began to glow and the mountains whispered their form into the lake. Then, just for a few minutes, the peaks caught fire—lit by the first light of day while the lake remained glass, reflecting every detail.
This image was taken in those fleeting golden minutes. No wind, no tourists, no distractions—just alpine quiet, perfect symmetry, and light as pure as it comes.

Captured just after dawn, this image freezes the moment the sun first strikes the snow-capped peaks above Lake Louise. With the lake completely still, the reflection offers a mirror-perfect symmetry rarely seen. A scene of absolute calm, taken in the quiet pause before the park wakes up.

Fine Art Canvas is inkjet printed directly onto canvas using an archival wide-format inkjet printer. The finish is resistant to moisture, fingerprints and other similar contaminants. Canvas prints are gallery-wrapped over a 1.5” stretcher frame and are ready to hang.

METAL AND ACRYLIC
Metal Prints are dye-infused images produced on an aluminum surface with a finishing coating applied. The end result is a vibrant print with impressive detail and resolution.
Acrylic prints are printed on professional-grade archival photo paper using archival inks. The print is face-mounted to acrylic, with a Dibond backer, encapsulating the printed image between. The result is an amazing, sleek, modern and original-looking treatment: colours become more vibrant, blacks deepen, and images will take on an almost 3D appearance.
